Laulhere... Quintessential berets
The beret, symbol of the French, just like the baguette, is the must-of-musts ac-cessory for supporting the French national rugby team. Laulhère, established in 1840 in Oloron-Sainte-Marie at the foot of the Pyrénées, is currently the only milliner which makes all its berets in France using traditional manufacturing processes.
Today, in addition to the historic black beret, it also proposes 100% in-vogue models, including berets for women. Although the planet's most famous guerrilla (Che Guevara) constantly wore a Laulhère beret, the firm's latest creations have been show-cased by the actress Emma Watson and the singers Rihanna and Madonna.

The boutique opened in 2014 and proposes a range of fashion-style and sports clothes for women, men and children recognizable thanks to its famous moustache, the brand and the town's em-blematic symbol, which illustrates the strong, quirky and fun-filled aspect of the word "gaillard" (play on words from Brive-la-Gaillarde and the French word meaning shrewd, strong, lively, mate... depending on the context)!
