Family-run wine and plum farm on the border between Gironde, Lot et Garonne and Dordogne. Facing south and west, it benefits from exceptional sunshine. Biodynamic vineyards, we produce blended wines in white (sauvignon blanc, gris and sémillon), red (merlot , malbec , cabernet franc , cabernet sauvignon ), rosé (malbec , cabernet sauvignon ) depending on the vintage in AOC DURAS and Bordeaux, wines without added sulfites. Our wines are matured in stainless steel vats and jars. A perpetual search for balance, lively and respectful, in line with our expectations. The wines of the domain are the work and the image of the two Imperial sisters, Laurence and Nadège: they combine generosity and elegance.

The property is located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, on the high plateaus of the Entre-deux-Mers. The horizon is clear, the landscape rolls before your eyes...clamorous...peaceful.

Here, the countryside is beautiful. The fruit trees populate the valleys and the vines cover the hillsides. Country of the old bastides, the surrounding villages offer their string of old stones, ramparts, belfries, monasteries and abbeys.

This little corner of paradise takes us deep into the history of Gironde, the history of men and women of the vine and wine.

Vestiges of a gallo-romain villa with peristyle and inner courtyard inhabited from the Ist to the VIth century. Polycusped hall, antique baths and preserved mosaics.

The excavations carried out on the site of Montcaret by Jules Formigé between 1922 and 1939 revealed its wealth.

In the 1st and 2nd centuries, a great Gallo-Roman villa was built there. It was transformed in the 4th century: the house was in its prime at that time.

The arrangement of the house is Graeco-Roman.

In the heart of the Côtes de Duras, in the north of the Lot-et-Garonne department, a small vineyard like so many others in the region, run by a small guy like so many others in the region. I strive to produce organic, living wines, which are barely sulfured, on a small vineyard. My estate is small and cute. It also welcomes visitors for tastings by appointment, and especially vacationers during the summer. I'm also lucky enough to see many people come to celebrate their wedding on our land, in our ECHO room and in our gîtes. Whether you're looking for a quiet weekend away, a country wedding, a week's retreat in the villages of Les Pruniers or a big night out with friends, I'm here to welcome you, with or without my wine.

Domaine du Grand Mayne covers 42 hectares, including 34 hectares of vineyards and 8 hectares of forests, fallow land and gardens. Surrounded by a variety of crops, our land boasts exceptional biodiversity. The vineyards, a true blend of local species, are home to orchids and wildlife. Family farm on which we produce with a lot of passion different wines of the appellation Côtes de Duras, preserved ducks, pâtés, rillettes, confits and foies gras. Groups have the possibility to visit the cellar of wine making and the cellar of bottles.
Organization of tasting evenings in July and August on Mondays and Thursdays from 5 to 8:30 pm.

Welcome to one of the most stunning flour mills in Nouvelle Aquitaine! The mill offers multiple activities, with guided tours to discover the work of the millers of the 20th century, bread-making workshops, waterbike trips on the river Isle, barbecue-boat trips to enjoy grilled food or an aperitif on the water, walks, a Terra Aventura route, concerts, events and a restaurant.
