The creatures are friendly, you can get up close to them and it’s a great way for children to learn about animal life. Miroir d'eau

He is less than 10 years old, but facing a monumental building of almost three centuries, he is now the attraction.

Situated opposite the Place de la Bourse, between the Quai de la Douane and the Quai Louis XVIII, this spectacular work of art, by landscape architect Michel Corajoud, alternates extraordinary effects of mirror and fog

The regular metamorphosis of 2 cm of water on a gigantic granite slab transforms the magical place into a permanent stage for children to play, for lovers to daydream, for refreshing strolls in hot weather with their feet in the water.

The most photographed place in Bordeaux, between the Garonne and the 18th century facade, the Miroir d'Eau is now part of the contemporary World Heritage. You too can bring your photo touch: post and sign your photos of the Miroir d'Eau from Bordeaux to your friends around the world.
