1. We'll leave you to daydream up in the trees in Rion des Landes
Leave your things safely on the lounger and slip into your private spa. Built into the balcony of your cabin on stilts, you can savour bathing the Landes way, with views of the trees. The water is the ideal temperature, and come morning, all you have to do is hoist up your breakfast using the pulley.
2. We’ll go slacklining in Nassiet
Reckon you could cross Nouvelle-Aquitaine on a slackline? As your bare feet grasp the smooth rope rigged between two trees, you’ll need to display the balance of a tightrope walker to make the other side. The first one to fall off pays for dinner!
3. We’ll climb trees in Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse
Treeclimbing is a cross between climbing and pruning. Wearing helmet and harness, and carrying a few lengths of rope and karabiners, you move from branch to branch until you’re looking out from the top of a mighty oak. What do you see 20m up? Nothing but green!
4. We’ll catch up on our reading in the treetops of Saubion
A treetop bookshop? It’s a thing! With a huge terrace as a bonus, it’s a great place to devour your book in the peace and tranquillity found in the heart of the forest. Are you more into crime novels, autobiographies, or adventure stories? Be ready to get engrossed.
5. You’ll sleep in a nest in Léon
It’s time to... head back to the nest! Yours is ready and waiting at the Cabanes du Menoy. Perfectly round, it’s so cute as it hangs form its branch, where it has been lovingly prepared for your arrival. What’s it called? The Lov’Nid (love nest). You can feel free to coo, now...
