Spread over 400 m2, La Vigie houses a surf school, a surf-shop and an art gallery dedicated to Surf Art. “The idea was to create an innovative space dedicated to surfing, between the surf-school and the shop of the same name, to give a different image of surfing and surfers, by exhibiting experienced artists, capable of breaking existing clichés”, explains Glenn Le Toquin, the man behind the concept.
On the shop side, you'll find simply the best in boards imported from the US and made by local shapers, and leading surfwear brands. An absolute must among the large number of surf-shops along the Landes Coast.

“Pine trees are our mountains in the Landes”, is what you can read on these 'it' bags by Bérengère Héliot and Laurent Harostéguy. The creative duo behind the Loopita brand, were inspired by « Scandinavian, Japanese, and distinctly vintage » influences. Their collection includes nearly a hundred items covering home decoration, luggage, tableware and stationery, not forgetting a "Kids" range especially for children. In an old house built in 1890, place Sterling in Soustons, jewellery designer Helena Lefort, has created a dreamlike, enchanting space dedicated to local craftspeople and artists. ”Exclusively handmade and local, each piece is either unique or edited in a very small series", explains the owner.
Arranged with great style, the boutique, that doubles up as a tea room, is nothing like a motley bric-à-brac, despite the wide range of products on offer: leather goods, cushions, babywear and music boxes for kids, jewellery, scarves and decorative objects made of driftwood, organic cosmetic products... Real magic, for all tastes and all budgets.

4. Les Volets Bleus in Angresse

All the locals who drive through the little village of Angresse as they head to the beach, know this Ali Baba's cavern: it's impossible to miss the huge iron letters, the bicycles and other vintage objects that decorate the façade and its distinctive bright blue shutters. You'll find treasures collected over the years, and endlessly replaced: antique and industrial furniture, quirky design, home decoration, lighting, funky 60's plastic stools...
We wander with delight through the small garden strewn with sculptures and summer furniture, before pushing through the doors of the Wysteria-clad barn to unearth more treasures. You're sure to fall for something!

Surfin Estate embodies a new generation of surf-shop. Living space, laboratory of ideas, shopping and exhibition space all in one, the store offers a menswear collection that prioritizes its own designs, 100% made in France, and other French surfwear and accessory labels. The same theme runs through the artistic programme (exhibitions, concerts) and choice of boards, including a range shaped by Vincent Lemanceau, one of the brand founders.
Tip: In exchange for a few euros, Le Club makes it possible for you to borrow one of its beautiful show boards to test under real conditions.

Everything's good at All Good. “We wanted to create a space that didn't yet exist in the area. More a living space than a simple store. Somewhere you could drink a coffee, enjoy an organic pastry, and discover a wide range of clothes and accessories”, explains Geoff Sipour, co-founder of the place. Rucksacks, skateboards, surfboards, baseball caps, candles and a cutting-edge selection of clothing for both men and women...
All Good also offers a library corner, an exhibition space for artists, a display stand for the local Woll (Way Of Living Life) beer and an outdoor garden.
