69 of them will be on hand to answer your questions and explain the long and complex geological history behind this exceptional and expansive area (3500 hectares of vineyards!). With passion and enthusiasm they'll share their savoir-faire and explain how they created the great Graves wines that we know today, giving you the chance to taste them at the same time, red, white or sweet.
Visit the vineyards and wine cellars; take part in workshops organized by the Bordeaux Wine School and get to test your palate and your nose; with your kids go on a treasure hunt or take them for a pony ride; for lunch tuck in to a hog roast, oysters or Bazas beef; make the rest of the day up as you go along using the extensive programme published by the Maison des Vins de Graves!
Top tip: to get the most out of these two days, the Vins de Graves website has a simple-to-use trip organiser. Just select one or more themes, the area you want to explore and the number of châteaux you think you'll have time to visit and hey presto, you've got your visit mapped out!
