The Flow des Gabarriers is an open-water swimming event on the Charente River in Cognac. It is the longest non-stop open water marathon (33kms) in France, sponsored this year by explorer Rémi Camus.
The longest non-stop open water marathon in France passes through 12 villages in the Charente region. You'll be captivated by the beauty of the river and the way you see the landscape from the water's edge. The succession of stone bridges, the transparent water bottom, the natural beauty of the banks of the Charente. Unlike open water in a marine environment, you won't have to suffer the friction of salt, waves or opposing currents, or the burns of gelatinous marine life...
On the program: The National Finals for Young Sport Horses in Eventing, as well as the International Anglo-Arabian Days.
The Dressage and Jumping events will take place at the Puy-Marmont showgrounds, while the Cross Country events will be held at the Hippodrome.
Catering and exhibitors' village on site.
