Goat breeders, Marie Ristor and Romain Le Dret are starting a craft brewery
Installed since 2019 at the Martinière farm in Vernoux-en-Gâtine, Marie and Romain raise 220 goats on 45 hectares
Their adventure in organic breeding has given ideas to these foam lovers. An amateur brewer since 2013, Romain wanted to move on and diversify the farm's activity. Just like the food for their animals, the components of the famous drink come from their farm
The necessary barley is grown on site. The seed is sent to a malting plant to be recuperated later. Only the hops do not come from the farm.
For the moment, a blonde, an amber and a brown beer have been brewed. A second blonde beer is in the pipeline.
Apart from the markets, the beers are also sold directly at the farm, on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.
