Since August 1st, the Gironde area is once again under "Red" fire vigilance. ALL the harbours and town centres of the Arcachon Basin are accessible, nautical, leisure and cultural activities continue. The leisure parks are open. Only the ocean beaches located between the Dune du Pilat and Biscarosse, as well as the 5 campsites affected in La Teste de Buch remain inaccessible. Access to certain parts of the forest as well as to the Vélodyssée and the cycling path network is limited in order to prevent accidents (falling trees, etc.). Although some roads remain closed to traffic, many alternative routes give access to all sites.
Further information about current restrictions on the Bassin d'Arcachon website.
Our tourist offices are all at your disposal, to give you information about your stay.
