The vineyard is located at the top of Pécharmant hill, oriented south. Tiny vine, with a view of Dordogne valley and Monbazillac hill. The land and vinification mixed together give this beautiful creation of an intense dark red wine with aromas of truffles, blackcurrants, and blackberries. This intensity and generosity underline a tannic structure that can age easily.

The Domaine des Costes’s name refers to the old French for “hillsides” (coteaux). It is located in Bergerac, one of the four towns producing Pécharmant appellation wines.
Since 1992, the vineyard is being cared of very carefully: replantation, poor yield, sustainable growing of vine, managing soils without weed killer.
Since 2003, the vine is worked in organic agriculture in an environmental way and in order to let the nature do its thing. We produce round, elegant and intense Pécharmant wines that you can keep for years. The rosé has delicate aromas.
At the heart of the south hills of Dordogne, with 57ha and plenty of medals, Château Court-les-Mûts will welcome you in its nice warehouses, its oenology laboratory and its wine museum. Meet and listen to the Sadoux family talk about wine and traditions while you will discover the art of tasting. Discover the peach and pear aromas of dry white wines, the exoticism of sweet wine, a rosé tasting like sweets, and intense red wines. Then, discover the quintessence of Saussignac coming from late harvests and early-maturing Semillon, that is to say a pretty rare wine!
Beautiful belvedere when you arrive at the estate, on a valley with a view on Dordogne’s valley and the Gironde hillsides of Sainte Radegonde.
