A very natural environment of almost 3 hectares, planted with oaks and pines.... It is here that Bénédicte and Alexandre have set up their campsite, limiting the number of pitches to 73 to offer comfort and privacy to holidaymakers. Several options are available: tent and caravan pitches, mobile homes, wooden chalets, and wooden stilt cabins for the adventurous. The bike path leading to the south of the peninsula, the ocean beaches of Grand Crohot, other towns of the Bassin, or the Médoc is very close.
The campsite has been awarded the "Vélodyssée" and "Accueil Vélo" labels and offers a bike rental service, as well as the "Ecolabel," which guarantees environmental commitments for your stay. The kids' club offers treasure hunts, games, and tournaments for children.
Family holidays and simple pleasures are the rhythms of stays at the campsite Aux Couleurs du Ferret.
The symbol of the Basin of Arcachon, it is it: the Island in Birds and his shacks ' Tchanquées '. It draws its name of the abundance of birds which meet there. Wild, peculiar and serene, in the changeable area (300 hectares with low sea counter 100 only in high tide). the island shelters ancient shacks about fifty from oyster used today for exclusively play aims.
Boulevard de la plage in Cap Ferret, facing the Dune of Pilat, the Hotel Côté Sable **** and its large terrace with a view of the bay, is inspired by the architecture of the local cabins. The owner wanted different atmospheres so that "one can come and return to Côté Sable without ever getting bored." Wood and natural materials dominate in the Cap Ferret rooms, the Arcachon rooms have the lively air of old Art Deco villas, and the contemporary rooms combine design and warm colors. Five rooms have a view of the bay, and ten others overlook the gardens with private terraces. The concierge service handles restaurant reservations, airport and train station transfers, bike rentals, and electric car rentals to get around the Peninsula. A "By Clarins" SPA offers a jacuzzi, a hammam, and a treatment cabin open all year round.
The Domaine de Saint-Brice is made up of two pools and a forest of maritime pines, willows, oaks and aspens, and also features a profusion of furze, broom, ferns, strawberry trees and heather.
In the fishermen's quarter of Cap Ferret, an old wooden country house has been restored to accommodate 11 rooms. The scent of wax, orange blossom, the patina of beautiful furniture, and the objects collected here and there give this hotel the atmosphere of a large family house where one gathers for vacations. Breakfasts are served in the room, on the terrace, or under the veranda. They consist of hot drinks, freshly squeezed fruit juice, pastries, bread, homemade jams... and madeleines, a chef's specialty! The house table, "Le Bistrot du Bassin," offers a lunch formula, menu, and à la carte options in the evening. The bar "Le Tchanqué," with its large terrace, allows for a pleasant moment to taste specialties of arranged rums or other cocktails with or without alcohol.
