At Vassivière, art and culture come together thanks to exhibitions hosted by the International Centre of Art and the Landscape. The artists whose work is showcased here all get their inspiration from the land. 60 and some pieces are exhibited here, not only on the walls of the International Centre of Art and the Landscape, but also outdoors, making this an essential part of Limousin cultural life.

La Déjantée is one of its most famous sports events. This obstacle course is open to all and promotes doing your best and helping other. Vassivière also hosts the French Wild Swimming Cup and the "Régate de la Porcelaine" sailing regatta, among many other events.
